Great Motivating Student Lesson

Motivating my lower level students is very difficult. Their level is too low for the textbook the school uses and the constant drill in their classes can turn them off to English by their second year. The hardest challenge to a teacher of these students is using a topic that is truly interesting to them.

I recently found a lesson and ppt called, How to Survive a Zombie Attack. I find it to be a truly an inspiriation to a teacher. Its an interesting topic that encourages vocabulary building and story telling. The ppt and the lesson plan offers a template which can add more structure to it to support my low level students or to use by itself for advanced students.
