I'm not going into Debt for Self-Improvement

Debt slavery is modern slavery.

I am a debt slave like many people. It influences my decisions and keeps me from moving forward. Therefore, my primary goal is to remove debt and then it is to never go into debt again to get something I don't need.

The graduate school I go into will be within my means. If my means improve I will go somewhere "better."

The house I buy will be within my means. The decision I make. The reason for this is practical. I can't move forward if I have to constantly deal with the past.

Because the concept of "constant and continual self-improvement" can not be done if the jobs I take and the decisions I make are influenced by debt- If the place I live is influenced by debt and so on...

Freedom is many more things than debt free, but debt is my number one obstacle to making free decisions.
