Green Thumb

I've commmited to growing some vegetables this year. I'm growing greens, pumpkins, tomatoes, and peppers.

This is the first time I've grown my own vegetables seriously so I expect to learn a lot.

I've commited to avoid plastic as much as possible so I'm building a planter using recycled wood. I found the garbage wood at side of a soccer field that's used for transport and with a hammer and arm strength I pulled all the nails out.

I got twice as much as shown yesterday thanks to my friend Brian helping me carry the wood. Thank you Brian.

I'm using seedlings of peppers and tomatoes since I want to hedge my bets.

The tomatoes will in recycled pots wherever I can find them.

I had a walk around my apartment grounds to find what is growing near my apartment buildings.

It didn't take me long to understand while Koreans eat a lot of mugwort. It's everywhere around those in Korea. So I took some home for some soup.

There were also others some of which I know and others I'm not 100 percent certain about yet.
