I've been Farm Manager and Program Director forMulme Healing Farm for Yang Hejern since mid-September. I've been developing programs for herbalism, farming, traditional methods, and forraging and learning a lot of about them myself.
The programs I am developing are from the skills I've learned at Maine Primitive Skills School as an apprentice and other places which puts an emphasis ancestral wisdom.
Today, I was introduced to a new plant that I didn't know which we'll be gathering. Wild soy beans. If you grab the seed heads they explode the seeds out of their shells. It's spectacular.
