Wwoof which stands for Willing Opportunities on Organic Farms has a Korean branch. The Korean branch this year started offering weekend wwoofing for busy city folks. You can stay at a farm that is chosen by the Wwoof organization for the weekend and come
Normally, weekend Wwoofing is too hard for the farmers and the workers to adjust in such a short period of time unless you already have a relationship. People normally commit to at least 3 days of working. This way weekday workers can participate too!
What you have to do is watch out for a weekend wwoofing session to appear on the Korea Wwoof facebook page. The last one was in November which was a while ago but they will get more frequent in the spring and summer. The fee to join for the weekend is 10,000 won for non-members and free for members.
Now that I am a busy weekday worker I will be going to the next one. Maybe I'll see you there.
