Korean Big Brother Culture Done Respectfully
Got taken out for dinner and ice cream and then had a great talk about Buddhism philosophy. In Korea culture, the older Korea pay though next time I will pay. But what really matters is that the "older brother" is looking out for the younger guy. I really appreciate my friend's life experience and advice without condescension. And then to respect if I disagree and let me make the choices. We get something back from the exchange even if I take another way. That someone is listening to me and respects my path. He gets to help his friend. I really appreciate the strong male brotherhood in Korea. Thank you brother.
